This statement especially true in introductory communication course where students receive feedback throughout presentational speaking process. paper explores how define useful based on 1,600 qualitative questionnaires that asked about their perceptions feedback. A thematic analysis a randomly selected subset 163 responses uncovered two themes: (1) content characteristics (e.g., specific, constructive, praiseworthy, and purposive) (2) process instructor-provided iterative, timely).
